Amara Sinclair is a contemporary romance and women’s fiction author whose work blends emotional depth, character-driven storytelling, and the soft-but-real complexities of Black love.

Her debut novel, The Year of Us, launches the five-book Seasons of Us series — a heartfelt exploration of friendship, healing, and the ways love evolves through the seasons of our lives.

Originally from Houston, Amara writes stories centered around emotionally rich characters navigating love, identity, past wounds, and personal growth. With a warm, immersive writing style, she creates intimate, cinematic narratives that feel both deeply relatable and beautifully escapist.

When she’s not writing, she’s usually building story worlds, tending to her butterfly-inspired personal aesthetic, or dreaming up the next chapter in her expanding fictional universe. She is currently preparing her debut projects for submission to literary agents while actively growing her community of readers
